There are reports of a big explosion outside a mosque in southeastern Iran, and, according to one Iranian MP, dozens of people have been killed with at least 50 wounded.

It happened in the city of Chabahr not far from the border with Pakistan as Shi’ite Muslims were celebrating the holy day of Ashur.

The official news agency IRNA quoted a local official there as saying there were suggestions it was a suicide attack.
